Violinist HIMARI performed in a concert conducted by world-renowned master Jean-Christophe Spinosi.

HIMARI performed at the subscription concerts of the New Japan Philharmonic 2023/2024 season (10 and 11 November, Sumida Triphony Hall), conducted by the world-renowned master Jean-Christophe Spinosi.


Born in 2011, aged 12. In 2022, she was accepted as the youngest student at The Curtis Institute of Music which is the most difficult and prestigious school. Based in the USA. Awarded the youngest ever Special Prize Grand Prix (more than the first prize) at the “15th Lipinski Wieniawski International Violin Competition”. First prize in all competitions in which she participated, including the Grumiaux International, Postacchini International and Scherkuncik International Competitions. Youngest performer at the Salzburg Festival. Performed in concerts in Russia, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Belgium, Ukraine, USA and Canada. She has performed with V.Spivakov, N.Dyasura, I.Stolbov, K.Wilson, Kenichiro Kobayashi, Naoto Otomo, Junichi Hirokami, Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Keitaro Harada, Toshiaki Umeda, Kosuke Tsunoda, Tatsuya Shimono, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Kyiv National Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, and others. Studied under Koichiro Harada, Machie Oguri and Ida Kavafian. 52nd scholarship recipient of the Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation. The instrument used is a 1717 Stradivarius ‘Hamma’ is on loan from Yusaku Maezawa, and the bow is on loan from the ‘Munetsugu Collection’.
